ABOUT ME
A Place to Grieve was born from personal experience
A Place to Grieve was born after a personal transformation after overcoming cancer.
Out of conviction, I formalized my path to offer genuine support to those facing death, who are in grief, searching for acceptance and inner peace to continue living in harmony.
MY APPROACH
Holistic and truly personal
My support in your grief and assistance in end-of-life planning seek to balance and integrate your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual dimensions.
I integrate various counselling styles and non-invasive complementary healing modalities, which are recognized in allopathic medicine and psychology for helping to relieve anxiety, pain, and help be in the reality of the present.
My unwavering commitment is to create a safe and welcoming space where you can speak and grieve freely, regardless of your background, beliefs, and family structure.
I deeply believe that everyone grieves differently and at different times. For this reason, I begin each session wherever you are in your grief at that moment, respecting and valuing your own journey.
Client-centred sessions
Each session starts wherever you are, honouring your unique journey.
Holistic healing modalities
Therapeutic Touch, Mindfulness, Reiki, and Neurolinguistic programming are integrated into my compassionate care.
Inclusive and welcoming
Adults of all backgrounds, beliefs, cultures, genders, sexual orientations, and family structures are welcome and honoured.
My mother's lesson
confirmed the importance of planning
for end-of-life
My mother's death taught me the importance of planning for the end of life. Because she was prepared, and because we, her children, despite our different beliefs and perspectives, knew her wishes, her last breath was soft and gentle, and we were all able to find peace and acceptance.
Empowered by her and by the realization of how important it is to prepare for our own death, I became an End of Life Educator to guide others through heart-centred, end-of-life planning.
