WHAT IS GRIEF COUNSELLING
A space to feel, explore, and begin to heal
Thanatology and Grief Counselling is a form of therapy that helps the bereaved explore their distress and confusing feelings without judgment or rush. My sessions are designed to facilitate your grieving process, ease the fear that you are losing your mind, and help you understand the nature and dynamics of grief.
My aim is always to promote healing and to open windows for personal growth, at a pace that is entirely your own.
MY GUIDING PRINCIPLES
How I Work
Everyone is welcome
All genders, races, cultures, sexual orientations, family constellations, and relationships are received with equal care and respect in my practice.
No one-size-fits-all
There is no single roadmap through grief. Every person grieves differently, and every loss carries its own meaning. We move at your pace.
Grief touches all of us
I believe grief and bereavement impact our physical, mental, and emotional selves. Healing requires attention to the whole person, not just one part.
Grief is not a problem
I am here to listen, validate, encourage, and to help you integrate the loss into your life. Not to fix you, but to walk alongside you.
Warm
Every conversation is held with genuine care and human warmth.
Compassionate
Your pain is met with deep empathy, never judgment.
Open-minded
All experiences and expressions of grief are welcome here.
Inclusive
A safe space for every background, identity, and relationship.

WALK & TALK SESSION
Talking healing outdoor
There is nothing quite like integrating a love for dogs and nature into a Walk and Talk Session. Sometimes the most meaningful conversations happen when we are moving through the world rather than sitting still.
If walking in nature feels like the right setting for your sessions, I would love to explore that with you.
GETTING STARTED
Finding the right counsellor for you
The relationship between client and counsellor is the most important factor in determining the success of your therapy experience, and research backs this up.
That is why I encourage you to reach out for a complimentary 15-minute consultation before committing to your first appointment. It is a chance for us to connect, for you to ask questions, and for both of us to sense whether this feels like the right fit.
There is no obligation and no pressure. Just a conversation.
What to expect
Your free 15-minute discovery call is relaxed and informal. Here is how it works:
Reach out via the contact form or by email to request your free call.
We connect for 15 minutes. You can ask anything and share as little or as much as you like
If it feels right for both of us, we book your first counselling session.
